Stacey R. Chinn-Hart (staceyrchinn.com), aka "little crow," is the creator of the lil crow brand. A native to Lexington, KY, she holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in sculpture and fiber art. Preserving traditional hands-on methods of working in the studio, Stacey creates the extraordinary out of the seemingly ordinary. Each piece is made in response to instinct, working in the moment, and giving in to a particular inclination and the movement of the clay. What results is a prolific body of exceptional, one-of-a-kind wares that bring about a better quality of life. Each piece speaks of sophistication, refined simplicity, and an authentic, inspired vision.

"My work is deliberately simple, decidedly sophisticated. My MFA informs my manner of working on my functional wares. I take time in carefully considering the possibilities and intricacies of each piece just as I would one of my sculptures. I am not a production potter. My interests lie more in creating a completely original piece rather than worrying about the bottom line."
